AXA Belgium - InsiteNet
Devotic has been asked by AXA to help their Intranet team to build a new Intranet interface.
As many huge companies, AXA was facing the problem of having multiple data sources managed by different people and different departments. The challenge was to integrate all these different sources of data in one consolidated Intranet.
We developed for AXA a data flow oriented framework using XML as consolidated data format. New data from any data source can now be added to their new Intranet portal by simply defining some settings in configuration files.
The portal is completely extendable using plugins to allow data sources to provide non-XML data; to allow the existing AXA security to be added to the framework; to add ACL or other kind of constraints to be defined for any part of the Intranet data.
